$150 to SNE - $60s - Challenge is on!
After last week’s crying blog when I decided to give it one last go to make it to $60s before ending the challenge I really put myself into it and played and studied as hard as I could. I have finally found myself on the lucky side of the coin and I made it!
The beginning of the week was just awesome getting a +$1,500 run which I lost right away during the next 100 games and got close to having to drop to $15s once again. This was super hard and challenging and it seemed like the ultimate nail to my coffin but after taking a short break I pushed through and thankfully, it got much better from that point on! Both red and green line went up beautifully eventually reaching $6,000! I began mixing some $60s into my session and after a while dropped $30s completely.
Here’s this week’s $30s graph:
From now on I will be including rakeback in my graphs set to 28% as that is the value of SuperNova when you start from BronzeStar. While I was very happy to be at the $60s, I wasn’t way too excited about playing them as I haven’t meet too many weak regs there, with easily exploitable leaks. Most of them actually play superaggro and know how to manage their aggression quite properly. Still, almost every table I played at had 2 fish/weak players sitting there and so I am pretty sure that if I’ll keep working on my game and make sure I am not being exploited by other regs, I should be able to play these profitably pre-RB. We will see.
The best thing about $60s so far is the §tfact that the redline is not working for me as they have added them just recently and I haven’t updated my HEM yet. As a result I am not worrying about the red at all and just focusing on playing my A-game.
And finally, a complete graph from September. It seems like it might turn out to be my best sng month so far so I guess the crying has indeed helped
The real challenge begins now though as it is only today that I reached the SuperNova which means I got 3 months to get 900,000 VPPs, which is not unreal but certainly very hard to do. I am prepared to give it all I can as it is super-motivating and I don’t think I would have an opportunity to complete such challenge ever again. So, 8 – 9 hour days and five figure swigs, here I come!
