$150 to SNE challenge

photo masuronike: Father, 6max hyper turbo grinder and founder of TiltBook, end of story. My nickname on PokerStars is MASUR0N1KE.
A lot of players asked me how I made SNE from $150 in 2012 so I decided to post translated articles from my old dead website where I was posting weekly updates in Slovak language. After last blog I will announce how you can get free coaching from me, enjoy!

WTF? Has Masuronike gone completely crazy? Or is the "King of Push Fold" messing with us again? Not at all! Due to lack of motivation to grind a because of low traffic on high stakes, I decided to move from Entraction to somewhere else. And I came up with a silly idea.

Couple years back when I was just starting, I often did kept challenging myself with stuff like turning $1k Into $5k on Ipoker network and I succeeded. Last year I managed to turn €100 into quite a big bankroll (I would like to not specify the exact numbers) and I decided to come up with a similiar challenge once again!

When switching between different formats, I used to have this problem of jumping to the high stakes right away where I always painfully found out that I am no match for it's regulars. So I decided to start sorting out my initial leaks on micros and gradually move up through stakes, when I thought of this:  PokerStars' highest VIP status, SuperNove Elite is a quite a huge thing to achieve and most of the players earned it by playing mid/high stakes games no matter what the format is. So I thought, how about making it right from micros and only with 8 months of the year left?

And so I am challenging myself to this:

I am gonna start with 0 VPPs and  $150 roll playing lowest 6-max hyper turbos on PokerStars ($1,5 - so 100 BIs) and move up to higher stakes whenever I reach 100 buy-ins for given limit, trying to eventually earn the SuperNova Elite by the end of the year.

FPPs, Stellar Rewards and all other bonuses will also count towards the bankroll and I'll have to move down the stakes when I'll have exactly 100 BIs for that lower limit. I will be regularly posting updates regarding this challenge, every monday on sngguru.com

Here is a screenshot of my cashier proving I got no VPPs at all so far this year:

The very first week of the challenge went far better than even I expected. I've had lot of problems multitabling since I am not used to playing on Stars yet, inculding issues with Table Ninja and having enourmous amount of misclicks and sit outs. I even lost connection during one of my sessions and so I am very happy that I ended up with such results:

SNG played: 703

ROI: 11%

Profit: $116

Bonuses: SCOOP reload $10

Total profit: $126

Bankroll: $276

VPPs: 386

Average daily VPPs needed to reach SNE: 4165

Like this post if you believe I can make it and earn SuperNova Elite by the end of the year. If you don't, leave your hating comments in the forums. One way or another - wish me luck!!
