So a mate of mine made a bet that I couldn't fold KK or QQ preflop, so I took the bet. Later that day, at a live game on the final two tables of a tourney. I chipped up early but couldn't make any plays to increase my stack, the blinds caught up and only left me with 1BB. I was dealer and the player to my right shoves all in. I look down, QQ. I couldn't believe it. I folded and showed (much to my devastation), someone flipped over As6s, flop was Qs 8s 4x, I was nearly in tears, turn. 9s, river bricked out. Still trying to determine whether it was the worst fold or best fold of my life. (I jumped from 14th to 6th with that fold).
I play best in live cash games, but want to learn to excel in live MTTs and online MTTs
Hello all! I am starting to prepare myself for one of the largest buy in games I have played ($1200), it's a live MTT that goes over three days. Is there any advice that anyone can give to help me do the best I can? I play a lot of live games but never one at this scale.
